One deliberate request at a time

A simple, predictable flow.

There is no continuous scene analysis. The app takes one photo only when a request starts, then returns a spoken response.

01

Request one look

Use the large analysis control or ask a question by voice. WayFinder captures one image for that request.

02

Check the scene

A hosted vision model returns structured scene facts, followed by deterministic safety checks.

03

Hear the result

Spoken feedback prioritizes hazards and STOP. Errors, uncertainty, and stale requests never become a clear-path result.

Designed for touch and speech

Focused on what matters.

High contrast, solid tonal surfaces, large targets, direct labels, and restrained motion keep the important action easy to find.

Honest system statesLimits and failures are explicit, never disguised as success.
Voice-first questionsA focused listening state with a prominent stop control.

Control stays with youVoice, camera, accessibility, and privacy choices remain easy to reach.

Fail-closed by design

Uncertainty means STOP.

A provider, network, authentication, parsing, quota, image-quality, freshness, or unexpected failure must never be reused or presented as a safe route.

  • Hazards and STOP responses take priority.
  • Old or cancelled requests cannot replace newer state.
  • Visual analysis is limited to 25 successful lifetime requests per account.
  • There are no subscriptions, purchases, or quota-reset paths.

Use WayFinder carefully

Support, not a mobility aid.

WayFinder is available to download, but it remains experimental assistive software. It can miss hazards or describe a scene incorrectly, so it must not replace a cane, guide dog, orientation and mobility training, human assistance, or emergency services.
